The responsibilities of the church are divided into 7 teams, called Focus Teams. The Focus Teams are:

The Prayer Team:

• Be devoted to pray confidentially for any concerns brought to The Prayer Team

• Send out cards of encouragement to those being prayed for through The Prayer Team

• Use scrap booking techniques to help make cards more personal

• To keep the emphasis on the importance of prayer and living out God’s will, both individually and as a church body.

The Worship Team:

• To focus on giving God our best during times of worship.

• Explore the many opportunities to worship God including music, dramas, skits, interpretive movements, and any other ways we can glorify God as we worship together. 

• To be willing to help with decorating the Worship Center for different events throughout the year.

• Prepare the Worship Center for all services by ensuring the area is clean and organized, including Bibles and decision cards in every chair. Our focus is that the overall appearance will reflect our desire to give God our best.

The In Touch Team:

• To help keep in touch with visitors and members of The Church at Riverside by calling, visiting and sending cards.

• To oversee preparing of meals for the sick, families who have lost loved ones, and the elderly.

• To greet members and visitors as they enter for times of worship.

The Discovery Team:

• Oversee any outreach projects to share Christ outside our church body.

• Areas include: Local, State and Foreign opportunities.

• Oversee education and discipleship opportunities needed to grow us in our spiritual walk.

• Oversee the upkeep and maintenance of the church building, grounds and vehicles.

The iTeam:

• To help members find out how they can get involved at The Church at Riverside.

• Assist members in discovering their spiritual gifts and talents; then provide practical ways they can be applied in their daily life and at The Church at Riverside.
